The paid plan
You choose and pay for the plan yourself on the DevGenie portal. Checkout runs on Stripe. When your account page shows an active plan, you can use the commands included with it.

Promotion codes
If you have a promotion code, enter it at Stripe checkout. A card is always collected, even when a code brings the first payment to zero, so your plan continues by itself when the promotion ends.
Before your plan is active
You can sign in before you pay. Until your plan is active, checking your account, starting a new project and the intake step work; other commands ask you to activate your plan at the portal.
Managing billing
On your account page, select Manage billing to open Stripe's billing portal. If a payment fails, the account page says so and puts Manage billing first.
Cancelling
On your account page, select Cancel plan. It opens Stripe's cancellation page. When the cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period, your plan stays active until then and the account page shows the date it ends.
