Troubleshooting DevGenie

Fixes for the common DevGenie problems: signing in, an account that is not active yet, a payment problem, and a command that needs a plan.

Start with /devgenie:setup. It names the problem and the next step.

"Sign in to DevGenie"

Claude Code is not signed in to DevGenie. Run /mcp, choose devgenie-core and authenticate in your browser. Use the same Google account or email you used on the portal. If the browser does not open, retry from /mcp, and contact support if it keeps happening.

"Your account is not active yet"

You are signed in, but there is no active plan on your account. Open the DevGenie portal and choose a plan. If you have just paid, refresh the account page until your plan shows as active, then run /devgenie:setup again.

"Your last payment failed"

Your account has a payment problem. On the portal account page, select Manage billing to sort it out in Stripe, then check the account page for your plan status.

A command says "upgrade required"

The command needs a plan your account does not have, or your account is not active. Check your plan on the DevGenie portal.

Preview licence keys

If you were given a preview licence key and want to move to account sign-in, email support.
